A Beautiful Mess Photo App
(4 days ago) There are loads of apps that put text/objects on photos brillinatly. The same is true of frames/borders. And, while I hope your filters bring something unique to the table, you can get snapseed for free which is a great editing option. Personally I tend to use Afterlight over snapseed, but it’s still a solid choice.
On Young Industries (Part 2): Apps
(9 days ago) Creating apps is exciting. Apps are a really, really exciting business to be in. We just passed the one million mark of ABM apps sold, and it was one of the strangest, happiest feelings, because I couldn't really wrap my mind around the thought of one million different people using my handwritten doodles and arrows and stuff.

How to Create Bright and Sharp iPhone Photos
(2 days ago) When you layer a filter from most apps on top of that, it will give you an image that’s still muted and dull, but now with a color filter over it (usually a yellowish tint). No bueno. To get intense color without a heavy filtered look, my favorite method is first boosting the brightness and contrast just a little bit and then using a filter

How to Paint a Tile Backsplash!
(8 days ago) If you’ve ever done a home renovation before, then you know how quickly the costs can add up. You think, “I’ll just paint this wall,” but then the new wall makes the trim look dingy, and the new trim makes the floor look worn, and the new floors should really have new rugs, and on and on it goes.

I just love mixing the colors, the textures, and the heights around to make a cute little forest and they look adorable on shelves, down a table for table decor, or on a mantle with other decor. When it comes time to store bottle brush trees through, it can be a little tricky to find a way
